Now a days we all are running towards modern lifestyle and forgetting our old practices and tradition which were golden tips for a healthy and peaceful lifestyle.

In this blog i shall tell you about an ayurvedic diet followed by our ancestors who lived for more than 100 years due to their healthy lifestyle. This diet does not focus on weight loss but it’s advantage comes along. The best time to eat is between sunrise and sunset,eating after sunset should be avoided. One should start the day by drinking a hot glass of water to flush out the toxins created overnight and then get fresh. Breakfast should form 30% of your calorie intake,in breakfast you should have food with complex carbs (vegetable,oats,wholegrain,peas,beans) which would fill you up for almost 4hr. You should have your major meal(50%) in lunch as one need more energy and sun is at it’s peak so food gets digested easily. If you want to have something a little oily or sweet,you should have it during luch time. In evening you should have about 10 almonds, cashew,walnut etc. In dinner(which should be before sunset)one should have light meal(20%)and add green tea or black coffee to it.

This diet is based on concept of “Eating like a king(full with nutrients)in breakfast,like a prince in lunch and pauper at dinner”. Before going to sleep one should have a warm glass of milk which releases stress and provide a good night sleep.
After following this for a month one should notice healthy changes in their body!!
